In addition, we have many office locations in prominent and strategic places across the Capital Region, including a long time office on Broadway in Saratoga Springs.
The History of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Blake
Blake Realty was founded in 1922 by Samuel E. Blake and in 1954 was incorporated as Blake Realty, Inc. In 1968 the first branch office was opened in Amsterdam, New York and in 1970 divisions were developed to serve various segments of our business including residential, commercial, relocation, investment and development.
Since then Blake Realty has actively engaged in an extensive merger and acquisition campaign, creating affiliations with over 20 leading real estate companies serving various areas of Northeastern New York.
Through these efforts Blake Realty has attracted many of the top professionals in our industry and expanded our marketplace to cover an area of more than 65,000 square miles.
The most dramatic change in our organization took place in February 2015, when Blake Realty became a part of the most admired and prestigious company in the world ... Berkshire Hathaway (repeatedly ranking in the top 4 as the most respected brand in the world by Barron's).
We are prepared to face the challenges of the Real Estate industry by providing our sales associates and clients with the most innovative marketing concepts available.
In our goal to help our sales associates become the most successful in the industry our training programs are second to none (available on both the national and local level).
